ICI Systems to Deliver New Security Certified Program Certification Training
May 5, 2006 – ICI Systems announced today that their training center will include the new Security Certified Program certification training in their schedule.
The new Security Certified Program certification training includes in-depth discussion and hands-on exercises suited to meet the needs of today’s IT Professionals who are seeking high quality information security training.
The first course in the SCP certification track is Tactical Perimeter Defense (TPD). TPD offers students an intense learning experience on the following IT security topics: Network Defense Fundamentals, Advanced TCP/IP, Routers and Access Control Lists, Designing Firewalls, Implementing IP Security and Virtual Private Networks, Designing and Configuring Intrusion Detection Systems, and Security Wireless Networks. After completing this training ICI System’s students can attempt the SC0-451 exam for the Security Certified Network Specialist (SCNS) certification.
The second course in the SCP certification track is Strategic Infrastructure Security (SIS). SIS offers students an in-depth hands on training experience in the following IT Security areas: Cryptography and Data Security, Linux Security, Windows Security, Attack Techniques, Security on the Internet and WWW, Performing a Risk Analysis, Creating Security Policies, and Analyzing Signatures, After completion of their SC0-451 exam and SIS training, students can attempt the SC0-471 exam for the Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP) certification.
